Society SEO Tools ("we", "our", "us") operates newssocity.com. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, and your choices regarding that information.

1. Information We Collect

a) Tool Usage Data
When you use any of our free SEO tools, we may log your IP address, tool used, approximate country/city from IP, and timestamp. This helps us detect abuse and improve service. We do NOT store, read, or share content you paste in tools like Plagiarism Checker, Article Rewriter, or PDF tools.

b) Website Audit & Comparison Data
When you run a Website Audit, we fetch and analyze the public webpage you provide. We store domain name, audit results, and date so you can view past reports via unique link.

c) Developer API Account Data
If you sign up for our Developer API, we collect your name, email address, and generate a unique API key. We track daily/monthly API request counts to enforce plan limits.

d) Payment Information for Paid API Plans
For paid API plans, payments are made directly via UPI or PayPal to our official UPI ID / PayPal email. We do NOT process or store your card, bank, or UPI PIN on our servers. When you submit payment reference (UTR/Transaction ID) for verification, we store only: reference number, your name, email, and chosen plan. This is used only to activate your API key.

e) Cookies & Advertising
We use essential cookies for login and preferences. We use Google AdSense to display ads. Google uses cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to our site or other sites. You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings. Learn more at How Google uses data.

2. How We Use Your Information

• Provide, operate, and maintain 238+ free SEO tools and API service
• Enforce fair usage and rate limits on free and paid plans
• Verify payments and activate paid API plans
• Detect and prevent abuse, fraud, or DDoS attacks
• Improve tools based on anonymous usage patterns
• Serve relevant advertisements via Google AdSense
• Communicate about your API account when necessary

3. Data Sharing

We do NOT sell your personal information. We share limited data with:

• Cloud hosting providers to operate newssocity.com – servers located in India
• Google APIs for PageSpeed Insights and Safe Browsing checks
• Payment verification: Only when you submit UTR, we may check with bank/UPI app
• Law enforcement, only if legally required

4. Data Retention

• Tool usage logs: 90 days for analytics and abuse prevention
• Audit results: 1 year or until you request deletion
• API customer records: As long as account is active. Delete by emailing us
• Payment UTR: 7 years for tax compliance, then deleted

5. Your Rights – GDPR & India DPDP Compliant

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at [email protected]. We will respond within 7 business days. For API users in EU, you have right to data portability.

6. Third-Party Services

Our tools use: Google PageSpeed API, WHOIS lookup, ip-api.com for geolocation. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. AdSense ads may be served by Google and its partners.

7. Children's Privacy

Service not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children. Paid API requires 18+ age.

8. Data Security

We use HTTPS encryption, Cloudflare DDoS protection, rate limiting, and API key hashing. Payment pages are hosted by UPI/PayPal, not on our servers.

9. International Users

Data is stored in India. By using our service, you consent to transfer of data to India. We comply with GDPR for EU users.

10. Changes to This Policy

Updates posted here with new "Last Updated" date. For material changes to paid API, we email registered users 7 days prior.
